Senator Win Gatchalian orders DepEd to review the K-12 program

Senator Win Gatchalian insisted on the Department of Education or DepEd to review the K-12 program in the second year of implementation. According to Gatchalian, it is important to adjust the K-12 curriculum program to ensure that graduates will find employment soon enough. Gatchalian urged DepEd to work on the survey results conducted by Jobstreet Philippines in April that only 24-percent of Philippine employers are open to the K-12 Completion Program. As chairman of the Senate Sub-Committee on Education Reform, Gatchalian also plans to conduct a hearing on the education system in the country. Gatchalian's second hearing target is to know the reason why the number of graduates of the K-12 program is getting a job.

Banco De Oro reminds their BDO Kabayan Savings Account holders that in order to avoid the P300 pesos monthly deduction, account holders must continue the BDO Zero maintaining balance featured. To do that the account holder must have to remit at least once a year. The bank advice no activity in your account for 12 months will automatically change it to regular savings account type in which the account owner must maintain P10,000 maintaining balance.
