Veteran Comedian Gary Lising found dead by son in condo Philippine veteran comedian Gary Lising, was found dead in his condo unit yesterday, May 31, by his only son, Bugsy. He is 78 years old. Gary's brother Pompeii Lising, confirmed it through a Facebook post. I am sad to inform some terrible news. We lost our beloved Gary Lising, my eldest brother, today. Gary, thank you for all the laughs and love, we will miss you deeply. But I know that your jokes will make God laugh. Rest In Peace my dear brother. Lising said he suffered a heart attack in 2009 and underwent angioplasty more than once in 2012.

Harassing women and members of LGBT persuasion by catcalling, wolf-whistling or with sexist slurs and gestures is now punishable under a new law. The law is formally called “Safe Streets and Public Spaces Act” but it has also been coined as the “Bawal Bastos” law.
